Melody Club's "Swingin' Fridays" dance was started for fun-loving people who enjoy dancing and meeting new people!  Melody welcomes all levels of dancers and even provides beginner to intermediate classes to help dancers get started in West Coast Swing.  So if you are a newcomer, intermediate, or advanced dancer... you will find that Melody is the place to be on Friday Nights!

* Anybody who is taking the Beginners Wednesday Class will be able to take the Friday Beginners class as well. A cover charge for the dance on Fridays will still apply.
(Classes will rotate instructors as needed from week to week)

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Intro to WCS - Start your evening off by learning a few WCS steps before the BIGGEST Swing Night starts! 

Beginner - 8-beat patterns and 6-beat spinning patterns (Left and Right Side Spinning Passes, Dallas Side Pass, Basket Whip, Basic Whip, Basic Whip with single/double Outside Spin, Inside Whip).
When to Advance:   The men can lead the basics on time, or the women follow the basics without anticipation, and both can dance to the beat, with a smile, and while chewing gum.
